Every Emanuela Borok design reflects the house's universe, a glamorous Hollyborok lifestyle, and a love legacy with timeless designs inspired by Emanuela's story and vision and her dog, Duchess DOUSHKA: She decided to call the brand BOROK, after one of Emanuela's grandfathers, the husband of her Hungarian grandmother, as a symbol of love to honor her ancestors and tell her story where it all began. The designs reflect the contrasts between her East European Transylvanian wild roots, her Parisian aristocratic education where she was raised, and her love for America, with the influence of Beverly Hills, Palm Springs, Palm Beach, New York, and Hollywood cinema, especially from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, with iconic muses like Diana Dors, Jayne Mansfield, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe.... Music and cinema shape every design of Emanuela Borok collections.
It was her beloved duchess dog, Doushka, who inspired her to create the brand with PREMIUM VEGAN, NO ANIMAL-USED fabrics, represented by the brand's logo and adorned with the signature of precious gemstones: Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Diamonds, surrounded in a HOLLYBOROK universe.

The Founders, Designer and Artistic Director
Emanuela Bisson Borok is the founder, designer, and creative director of EMANUELA BOROK's house, but also her beloved Duchess dog Doushka.
Born in Bucharest, Romania, under the very harsh oppressive communist regime, of half Hungarian and Romanian origins, she was lucky to escape her birth country at a young age to be raised in Paris with the values of aristocratic Parisian education and her French family and her annual travels to England and traditional school in uniform where English became her beloved language.
Emanuela was inspired by her grandparents from Eastern countries and her roots, her French grandparents, in an environment of refinement, elegance, intellectuals, authors, diplomats, and her beloved jurist father, who taught her the strongest human values, with a young American soul and lifestyle energy, in music, cinema, and the love for horses and animals.
Emanuela's formative years were influenced by creative and prestigious fashion houses, from charismatic sexy Versace, Tom Ford’s provocative Porn Chic, Hedi Slimane, to her love for Thierry Mugler's futurist vision with the contradictions between the shapes of high luxury technologies, and the beauty and power of nature and animals, elegant modern styles, Moschino for the eternal youth vision and fun, her love for Tokyo and Japan influence. It is in fashion photography, such as Helmut Newton, Lawrence Shiller, Richard Avedon, music and cinema that truly added to her distinctive creativity and universe since always.
But it is in high heels where Emanuela finds her first joy, comfort, and inspiration in her designs since she was very young. When she closes her eyes, she recalls the sound of the laces of the baby boots that her parents put on her feet as a child, bringing her a feeling of home, roots, love, protection, safety, and magic that never left her.
Her passion for fashion led to studying at prestigious institutions in Paris. She studied her first year at La Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture de Paris, Créapole, then ESMOD, under the artistic direction of Jean Charles de Castelbajac.
Always willing to sublimate and make people happy, she complemented her fashion education with a master in image consulting and branding.
Emanuela’s professional journey spans styling, assisting, wholesale, sales, and client advisory roles within luxury houses such as PINKO, Sonia RYKIEL, Alberta FERRETTI, PHILOSOPHY, and design experience in Charles JOURDAN's house for shoes and accessories, ELIE SAAB's prestigious fashion show, ... giving her a global understanding of the fashion process—from creation to fashion show, to client experience.
It is thanks to her dog Doushka that the vegan brand was born in 2020, coming back from America. The house introduced its first signature iconic designs with magical jackets, and a world inspired by the glamour of Hollywood through the 50's, 60's, and 70's and her Eastern European Transylvanian roots. This marked the beginning of Emanuela Borok, a new vision of luxury dedicated to timeless, cruelty-free, no animal used designs in providing magic everywhere you go.
